There were some great deals to be had this week! As always, there were a few hitches at Walgreens (read more about the Windex Touch-Up moneymaker!), but what else is new? The Walgreens store that I shopped today did not carry the Colgate Optic White 8 oz bottles, so I couldn’t get those, but I’ll probably try to stop at others here and there throughout the week trying to find them. Also, when I scanned my card at the CVS Red Instant Coupon Machine, I got a free $5 ECB from my previous Beauty Club transactions! Yay for free money! Just a quick reminder – you ABSOLUTELY want to enroll in the Beauty Club whether you buy makeup or not. There are a TON of personal care items that qualify for the Beauty Club and every once in awhile you’ll get a free $5 without trying! It’s without a doubt worth your time.
Here is what I did today:
CVS
2 Crest Pro-Health Rinse $4.99 each (Used $2/$8 from the Red Instant Coupon Machine last week (read more here) AND 2 $1 Crest ProHealth Rinse coupons)
1 Snickers Peanut Butter Squared $.75
3 Arm & Hammer Detergent B1G2 for $7.49 (Used 3 $1 from 5/18 SS)
Also used $5 in ECB from previous weeks and the free $5 ECB I got from the CVS machine
Paid $1.22 plus tax, Got $.75 ECB from Snickers and $8 ECB from Crest
Final Price: $2.53 Moneymaker (since the $5 was free money!)
Walgreens
3 Twizzlers 3/$5 (Used $1/3 from 5/11 SS)
2 Windex Touch-Up 2/$7 (Used B1G1 from 5/11 SS)
3 Hydrogen Peroxide 3/$1 w/in-ad coupon (these are my fillers so that I could use my 3 Register Rewards from previous weeks)
Also used 2 $2 RR and 1 $3 RR
Paid $1.50 plus tax, Got 750 points from Twizzlers, $1 National CAT RR from Windex, $1 Checkout 51 from Windex and $2 Walgreens Gift Card from Windex (because the RR didn’t print – read more here)
Final Price: $3.75
After all was said and done, I spent a total of $1.22 for everything! I decided not to get the Tricalm Gel from Walgreens because even though it’s free after RR, we pay very high tax in Chicago, so it wasn’t worth it to me since I didn’t need it. I also didn’t receive the $2 Speed Stick coupon from the Red Magic Coupon Machine, so I couldn’t get those for free at CVS, but be sure to take a look through the coupons you got! It’s a great freebie deal if you have the coupon! I hope my shop gives you some ideas! Happy shopping!
