I just got back from Walgreens where I tried the Windex Touch-Up moneymaker I mentioned to you a few days ago. The good news is that the $1 National CAT coupon DID print! The bad news is that the $2 Register Reward that is advertised in the Walgreens ad did not. Sigh.
When I did the deal and brought the absence of the $2 RR to the manager’s attention, he asked if he could just give me two $1 RR to account for the regular $2 RR which was missing (since the machine was printing the $1, getting two would have been easy.) I politely asked if there was any other way so that I didn’t have to buy two different items in order to use them. He ultimately gave me a $2 Walgreens gift card to use. He didn’t have to do that, as this is technically a Catalina issue, but he did and it was very kind of him.
