If you’ve been hanging out with me on the Couponing For 4 Facebook page, you know that I recently had my block party. My co-chair Denyse and I go all out and try to make it the best day possible for both the adults and the kids. We rent a waterslide for the day, we have a raffle, the fire truck comes (this year we got to go up in the lift!), we have music and everyone comes out with their grill, their lawn furniture and their friends. To make it even better, this year Zaycon Foods offered to let us try their fresh chicken breasts!
The morning of 7/9, 80 lbs of fresh Zaycon Foods chicken breasts were delivered to my house. Yes, I said 80 lbs! They came in two humongous bags that held smaller bags of boneless, skinless chicken breasts inside. These were truly the largest breasts of chicken that I had ever seen. After cleaning the chicken (with my mother’s help – I love you mom!), we were able to turn each breast of chicken into four healthy portions to be grilled up for sandwiches.
My husband and Father-In-Law helmed the grill and cooked the chicken. After seasoning the breasts a bit, we shared what we had with our neighbors and started passing out bags of raw chicken to everyone who wanted some. It because part of the fun of the day. Everyone was eating chicken. And it was GOOD. Every single person had good things to say. Words like “fresh” and “juicy” were very popular. The also all wanted to know where to buy it.
Zaycon Foods is a company that is expanding across U.S. They are in only some areas currently, but they will eventually come to a town near you as well! They sell much more than chicken too. Currently they have events taking place for blueberries, cherries, peaches, bacon and ground beef among other products. You will have to register or log into your account to see if they are going to be in your area soon. They move around the country frequently, so you never know! They may be by you soon.
