I have mentioned before that I was working with Wisk to tell you about their new Stain Spectrum Technology. Well, this time around, Wisk sent me some materials to test it out for myself. I had my two little scientists help me. It was supposed to be the one, but whatever my son does, my daughter has to do. Here is my big little scientist all ready for our experiment. He was very excited.
Once we were all ready, I laid out all of the materials we wanted to use: Wisk, a small beaker of water, a little pipet, and a protein-stained piece of fabric. Since protein stains are one of the most common type of stain, this was the ideal thing to try for our experiment.
You can see that my daughter got to the water beaker before we started. I knew that I’d be glad that I made this an outside experiment!
Each of my guys took turns using the pipet and some Wisk to draw a design on the protein-stained piece of fabric. After they were done, I swished the fabric around in the water for about 45 seconds. (I took a break from swishing for a second to take the picture.)
I was truly shocked by how well this worked! After only 45 seconds! I will definitely be using this new Wisk in the future. Probably on the grass stains that this new lab coat is about to get!
When we were done with the experiment, my son wanted to continue being a scientist. He started looking for places on our block to dig for dinosaur bones.
