I finally figured out what register rewards and I know I through my last receipt away! : (

You threw the RR coupon away or the receipt for the purchase? You don’t need the receipt to use the coupon. But if you’ve thrown the coupon away, that’s a bummer. But it does happen to the best of us. I’m still kicking myself because I lost $20 in RR one day while I was shopping at Jewel. I have no clue where they went.

sarah April 21, 2011 at 10:24 pm

Okay, so maybe I don’t know what RR is….Im so confused. I thought it was something on the receipt.

Alli April 21, 2011 at 10:27 pm

LOL No problem! The RR is a coupon that will print out of a little machine next to the register (the Catalina machine) and looks just like the other Walgreens coupons they sometimes give you with your receipt after checking out, but they are actually coupons good on your next order. They say manufacturer’s coupon on the top, have a value in the middle and are good for two weeks. If you’re in the Chicagoland area, you can use these at Jewel because it’s a manufacturer’s coupon. If not, check with your stores to see if they accept competitor manufacturer’s coupons. Some do! Otherwise, use it at Walgreens towards your next order!

I just purchased a Goodies hair product that had a register rewards of $3.00 each so I purchased two. Giving me $6.00 off my next product. Then at Walgreens they have a Walgreens brand Blood Glucose Monitoring System for $9.99 with a mail in rebate of $9.99 making all of my products free and I got some money back and free products.

Brenda Wilson April 24, 2011 at 7:55 pm

My Walgreen’s limited the Goodies hair product register reward to one.

You just have to do multiple transactions to get the RRs then.

Tried to purchase 2 Butterfinger Snackerz with the $1 coupon – the register beeped (at 2 different Wags), so they wouldn’t let me. I even offered to purchase a third so that the total would be over $1, but they wouldn’t allow it because the coupon was for 2. So I didn’t buy any. I’ll spend my money and coupons at CVS next week!
