I wanted to give you a quick update on the free Colgate 360 Toothbrush deal at Walgreens. I just got back from shopping (I’ll write that up in a bit!) and had a major issue when trying to purchase the toothbrush.
First, the shelf wasn’t marked at all with the $3.49 sale price or $2.50 Register Rewards tag. I then grabbed the ad and found the exact toothbrush pictured in the ad. When I took it over to the cashier, I asked her to scan it to make sure it was on sale. It rang up at $2.79 (more proof that they’re just upping the sale prices with Register Reward deals sometimes, but I digress…). Long story short, my Walgreens had no idea why they aren’t ringing correctly, yes, that was the same toothbrush in the ad and no, there’s nothing they can do to get the Register Reward to print. So be careful my friends! And if you plan to pick up the toothbrush and it doesn’t work for you either, bring the toothpaste coupon as a backup!
