In the magical land of Legendale, two brave sisters must come together to reunite two worlds separated by an evil enchantment.”
I recently got the opportunity to check out this new movie and the second my daughter saw the cover, she started jumping up and down. This film is a nice representation of love, loyalty and friendship between family as well as friends. As with most of these movies, there is a “bad guy,” but shockingly, it’s not the mother or step-mother! That was refreshing!
In this film, the evil sorceress arrives at the castle of the king and queen to essentially steal one of the twin princesses. The rest of the movie is about the king trying his best to protect the one child he has left (as the mother died during the initial fight) and her need to find out what happened in her past. In doing so, the twins ultimately find each other and defeat the sorceress with their father’s help.
If your child is anything like mine, they’re going to love this new film! Plus, it’s kind of fun to think about having a twin out there somewhere. I know I used to wonder about that when I was little!
