Yesterday I got a letter from Scott telling me that I wouldn’t be getting the soccer ball from the Scott Soccer Ball rebate a few months ago. What a bummer! It did say “while supplies last,” and while I knew it wasn’t guaranteed (and frankly, I didn’t know how they were going to mail out 300,000 soccer balls), I was hoping this one would come through.
What the did send in the dandy envelope instead of a shiny new soccer ball, was two $1 Scott coupons. HUH?? Seriously?? Not even a free product coupon? I don’t mean to sound ungrateful, but that seems a little skimpy since we had to buy three Scott products and use a stamp. Granted, my products were free when I bought them, but I am sure that I got the same “reward” that everyone got and theirs weren’t free. I appreciate the sentiment, but I don’t know… I’ll have to pick up some free/almost free paper towels when they’re on sale. I hope everyone else does too.
Did any of you get a soccer ball by chance? I would feel a lot better if someone did!
