I LOVE when McDonald’s comes out with their movie glasses. The last time around was for Shrek 3 and I bought 8 of them. I kept 4 for my family and sold the other 4 on Ebay for a profit. I may do that this time around as well.
If you’ve never seen these glasses, they are great, thick, durable, dishwasher safe glasses with movie characters on the outside. This time the promotion is for Shrek Forever After. The glasses are selling for $1.99 each and not all locations have all of the glasses at any given time, so you may have to check back periodically. I was lucky enough to find one location with 3 glasses and another with the one I was missing.
In addition to the purchase of your glass, you will get a little certificate (inside the glass). Each certificate contains a unique code that you can use to “unlock Shrek games & receive handsome rewards!” Each code will get you your choice of one of these three things:
- An Activision Shrek Flash Mini-Game Pack
- One Redbox DVD Rental
- A Snapfish Bundle of 25 Photo Prints
You should be able to find codes within each of the glasses as well as on 10 and 20 piece McNuggets between 5/18-6/14. Codes must be redeemed by 6/30.
