I am a big fan of Carter’s clothes. They were always my go-to brand when my kids were babies and they have the best quality footy-sleepers around! To help prove that point, Carters is featured in the movie What to Expect When You’re Expecting, due in theaters May 18! You can get two free tickets to the movie when you spend $60 or more in a Carter’s retail location between now and May 6. Find a Carter’s store near you and get shopping! Tickets are available while supplies last.
This movie got me thinking a little bit about all the “secrets” that you find out when you first become a parent. You know, the club that you didn’t know existed before you had kids? If I had any advice to give a new parent it would be that in addition knowing that this is a life-changing time, you have to learn to take a breath – a real deep breath. I never knew that I was capable of the emotions I’ve found since having a child. I have been happier, angrier, laughed more, cried more and needed an understanding ear more than ever in my life. And I think that is one of the things that few people talk about – that there are the fantastic times and the more difficult times. You have to learn to take a breath.
I’m interested to see what the movie portrays for these new moms to be, but at the very least, I’m sure that watching someone else go through it will be hilarious!
