As a mom of two young and school-aged children, I am constantly looking for snacks for my kids. When they get home from school, they are ravenous and yet I know that we have to get down to homework. My goal is to find something that is full of protein, but won’t be so large that it spoils their dinner. When I was given the opportunity to try Sandwich Bros. of Wisconsin™, I was more than game to try some!
Sandwich Bros. sandwiches are really tasty and honestly, I enjoy them as much as the kids do! There are varieties that include egg and cheese, cheeseburgers, hamburgers, chicken and more at my store, so I went for the Angus Burgers with no cheese. I always like the option of being able to add to a snack rather than subtract and only one of my children likes cheese on their burgers. Needless to say, perfect for my family!
Sandwich Bros. sandwiches are handheld size, which means that they aren’t too big and aren’t too small (anyone else recalling a fairy tale here?), but they really are the “just right” amount of food for a snack. The protein included keeps the kids fuller longer and I know that they are getting protein, not just empty calories. And as a HUGE bonus, the Kangaroo flatbread pocket is delicious and it’s baked fresh daily.
As you can see above, we each like to do a little bit of a different take with our Sandwich Bros. sandwiches and this is mine. We got home from school, made our snacks and when I turned my back, THIS happened! Thank you to my beautiful seven year old who apparently wanted more.
Sandwich Bros. is sold in most states around the country, so hopefully you’ll find them near you! In the Chicagoland area, we have them at Butera, Caputo’s, Costco, Mariano’s, Food 4 Less and lots of other stores.
