I know that most of us aware that tea has health benefits, but did you know that Salada has teas specifically geared toward your health? They do! I was lucky enough to be able to sample a bunch of their varieties:
- Bone Support (with added calcium)
- Metabolism (with botanicals & green tea extract)
- Immunity (with vitamin C & echinacea)
- Brain Boost (with ginkgo & ginseng)
- Digestive Support (naturally decaffeinated)
- Serenity (soothing chamomile blend – naturally decaffeinated)
My kids love tea as well and since our babysitter (and great friend!) brought my daughter a little tea set, we all tried it! Looking for a little peace, I brewed up the Serenity. This one includes green tea, chamomile, passion flower, raspberry leaf and more. The scent of the bag is far more of the chamomile, but when you brew it, it’s quite sweet. I don’t like to add sugar to my tea, but I also prefer sweetness and this was a great mix. It’s not overwhelming, but it’s a lovely scent and taste after it’s been brewed. We all really like it, although my son said it was too sweet. He prefers strong black teas, so this wasn’t a shock.
My daughter picked out the next one, which was Metabolism. We all felt that it smelled sweet and flowery, although since it does contain peppermint, you get a little kick of flavor once brewed. And as sweet as it smells, the flavor is much more mild once brewed. My son was a bigger fan of this one!
What I like most about all of the flavors is that in the box, they each have a very distinct fruit or herbal scent. No two are alike, but you’ll most definitely have a few favorites. I’m loving the Immunity which smells like nectarines and ginger (something that I think of as hard to accomplish!)
To get everyone in a calming mood, I am giving one lucky winner a Salada Tea Prize Pack consisting of Metabolism, Digestive Support, Brain Boost, Bone Support, Immunity and Serenity teas!
