So how did you do on grabbing an extra paper today? I got 3 extras, but not in the way I had planned.
This morning I got a paper with my room at the Hyatt in Louisville (who knew?). Then on the way home, we ran through McDonald’s where there lay a lone newspaper that was up for grabs – so I grabbed it! I picked one more up at the gas station on the road. These were all in addition to the Sunday paper I get at my house.
The reason I tell you all of this is to let you in on the regional differences. I’ve never had the privilege of experiencing this myself until now. Look at the inserts I got. Some are exactly the same, some are totally different! I got these in 3 different states (unintentionally) and it’s kind of an interesting product review. Some of the coupons are different and some aren’t in some of the inserts at all.
For example, in one Smart Source I have a $.40 coupon off 2 Campbell’s Select Harvest and in another it’s a $.50 coupon.
This is why you will sometimes find me stating “Use coupons from x/xx SS” in my grocery coupon match-ups. Sometimes the coupon is regional and we all have different amounts. I figure this way you know where to look and can match the amount up from your own insert.
