If you’ve purchased Prego Pasta Sauce in the last few months, you’re going to want to read this! The Campbell’s Soup Company has voluntarily recalled 300 cases of Prego Traditional Italian Sauce due to “risk of spoilage.”
You can identify a recalled jar by looking for these specifics:
- A “Best By” date of June 16, 2015
- a “four-digit, military time code ranging from “CT BJ ZV 0330” through “CT BJ ZV 0449.”
- These were most likely purchased in Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
If you believe you have an affected jar, “return the product to the store where the product was purchased for a full refund. Consumers can also call Campbell at 866-270-9303 for more information.”
