Purex has come out with a new Natural Elements line! I hadn’t seen them in the stores until recently and Purex let me try some for myself! When you smell the detergent right out of the bottle, it has a fairly strong tropically sweet scent. I have to admit, I was a little nervous that my laundry was going to smell like Juicy Fruit gum, but I gave it a shot on my towels. It worked out okay in the end. My laundry was definitely clean and the fragrance was there, but not overwhelming. And to be clear, the fragrance was pleasant, but since my husband prefers fragrance-free detergent, it was a gamble!
In the end, I’m not sure if I would use it on our clothing, but since I do so much laundry that doesn’t involve our everyday clothes (rags, towels, jackets, the kids painting shirts, etc), I’ll find some great ways to use it so that my husband doesn’t have to worry.
