Any PopChips fans out there? I’ve been a huge fan ever since I tried the barbecue flavor and then became a complete convert when I tried the jalapeno. Oh my goodness those are good! So when PopChips contacted me about their new flavors, I was game to try!
PopChips has released a bunch of new options including Sweet Potato, Tortilla Salt & Pepper, Chili Limon, Nacho Cheese, Ranch and Salsa. I am an avid tortilla chips lover, so I was dying to try these. While the flavor of each is really good, I had some trouble getting used to the change in texture between a PopChip (not fried or baked, just popped) and a regular tortilla chip. That being said, I have tried several flavors to find my favorite because I’d love to make the switch and save on calories and fat!
My absolute favorite of the lot was the Sweet Potato. I’ve always loved sweet potatoes and I’ve been trying to turn my kids onto them. The Sweet Potato PopChips are great! They’re light and sweet, but not overwhelming in any way. They’re a great snack to have around to take care of that sweet tooth, but they’ll also satisfy your snacking needs! I highly recommend them.
