I am a big fan of music that helps me relax. Not classical music per say, but something that I can chill to with a groovy vibe. My favorite college band Freudian Press was that way (luckily they made a CD that I still have!) and I am a big fan of The Grateful Dead (total Deadhead!). The cake at my wedding? Tie-Dye.
When The One2One network asked if I wanted to take a listen to a CD of a London band called One eskimO that fit my criteria, I was really interested. Their biggest hit from the album is a song called Kandi. They have performed it on the Ellen Degeneres show (which I actually saw when it aired!) and it’s been the most played song on adult stations for the last 4 weeks.
Kandi is good, but I really like two other songs more: Hometime and Chocolate. There is something about them that makes me all nostalgic. Hometime makes me feel like I should be laying in a hammock looking up at the sky and Chocolate just has a really nice groove. Or maybe it’s just the name.
