Walgreens is COMPLETELY showing up CVS this week! Come on CVS! Bring those great deals back! When I went to Walgreens today, my focus was on how to best use that Buy $25, Get 5,000 points coupon on the front page of the ad. I had to do a little bit of tinkering in the store (we apparently don’t have Rockstar Energy in this area, so that was a bummer) and Nivea Lip Balm is higher in Chicago than many other areas, so that factored into the deal as well. If you plan to copy my deal, be SURE that your shelf prices on Nivea are the same as mine or else be sure to pad your transaction. Here’s what I did:

After all was said and done, I made a total of $2.86 and got everything above for free! I had the Beauty Wellness coupon scanned a few weeks ago, but I have read that people are having trouble scanning both the 5,000 point coupon AND the Beauty Wellness coupon in the same transaction. If you haven’t had the Beauty Wellness coupon scanned yet, do one transaction before the large one in order to get that in the system under your account (do Colgate or anything else). Once you have it scanned, it will stay in your account until the promotion is over. Also, don’t forget about the free Crest Rinse at CVS! That deal showed up after I got home from shopping, so I’ll be picking that up tomorrow. Make sure that you do too! Happy Shopping!
