I ran to Walgreens today to take advantage of the last day of the Theraflu/Triaminic moneymaker. I kept some for my family, passed some out to friends, and I thought I’d get some more to donate.
Here’s what I did
Transaction #1
3 Triaminic
1 Emergen-C
1 Gillette Fusion Razor
I used
1 $1.50 Triaminic coupon
1 $3/2 Triaminic coupon
1 $4 Gillette coupon (I found one more!)
1 $2 Triaminic from Healthy Savings Booklet (took off $6)
$9 RR from previous transaction
Final Price: $5.29
I got back $17.50 RR ($8 Triaminic, $6 Gillette, $3.50 Emergen-C)
Total Cost: I made $3.21
Transaction #2
3 Theraflu
1 Hot Wheels Car (another tiny birthday present for my son – we did actually buy him a real present too!
)
I used
1 $2 Theraflu coupon
1 $3/2 Theraflu coupon
1 $2 Theraflu Healthy Savings Booklet coupon (took off $6)
$3.50 RR from previous transaction
Final Price: $2.34
I got back $8 RR
Total Cost: I made $2.16
Overall, I made $5.37 at Walgreens. Then I turned right around and went to Jewel to spend my Register Rewards. I bought about $12 in last minute birthday party supplies for $.61 after 1 coupon and RR. If only we could do this every week!
