My Wags Shop Today

Now this is more like it! This is what I was trying to do the other day, but with the new $5/$25 coupon I worked some of my planned transactions together.

Honestly, I never do the $5/$25 Wags coupons. I don’t like to spend that much out of pocket at a drugstore and since the coupon states that it has to be used after all manufacturer’s coupons there isn’t really another option. BUT, since I knew that I would be going to Jewel after this shop AND there were so many free after RR products I couldn’t resist!

Here’s what I did:

Transaction #1
I bought a bag of Halls yesterday, used a $.75 coupon and got $1 RR. Made $.73.

Transaction #2

1 Gillette Razor
1 Herbal Essences Hairspray
1 Halls
2 Mini Highlighters (filler – and I forgot to put them in the picture – Sorry!)

I used

$4 Gillette coupon
$1 Herbal Essences coupon
$.75 Halls coupon
$4.50 RR from previous transaction

Final Price: $4.31
Got $9 RR ($6 Gillette, $2 Herbal Essences, $1 Halls)
Total Cost: I made $.29

Transaction #3

1 Emergen-C
1 Gillette Razor
1 Dentek Floss
1 Robitussin To-Go
1 Vaseline Renewal
1 Oral-B Toothbrush
1 Halls
1 Herbal Essences Hairspray
1 Chapstick Fresh Effects

I used

$4 Gillette coupon
$1.50 Vaseline coupon
$1 Herbal Essences coupon
$.75 Oral-B coupon
$.75 Halls coupon
$5/$25 Wags coupon

Final Price: $23.35
Got $30 RR back ($6 Gillette, $2 Herbal Essences, $1 Halls, $3.50 Emergen-C, $2 Dentek, $2.50 Robitussin, $7 Vaseline, $3 Oral-B, $3 Chapstick)
Total Cost: I made $6.65

Transaction #4

1 Gillette Razor
1 Herbal Essences Hairspray
1 Halls
1 Halloween Sticker Book (filler and the kids will love it)

I used

$4 Gillette
$1 Herbal Essences
$.75 Halls
$7 RR from previous transaction

Final Price: 1.26
Got $9 RR
Total Cost: I made $.74

After all of this, I am up $8.41 and I have a billion Register Rewards. So what’s a girl to do? Go over to Jewel and use up some of those coupons!

I went over to Jewel and bought my produce and odds and ends for the week. It cost me $17.58. I used $17 RR and paid $.58 OOP.

Now I just have to make sure to roll and use up the rest of my RR in the next two weeks. This is why I don’t always like Wags RR program, but I couldn’t pass up these deals! Especially since the hairspray, razors, and Halls are all staples in my house.
