It has been a LONG time since I’ve highlighted a shop for you guys, so I thought I’d show you what I did at Walgreens today. This is a perfect shop for beginners since I started with no Register Rewards. There are a bunch of great deals this week, and I really wanted to stock up on Halls, so here’s what I did:
Transaction #1
2 Pantene Restore Beautiful Lengths $6 (one was 50% off)
3 Halls Cough Drops $3
1 Hyland’s Children Cough & Cold $4.99
I used
2 $2 Pantene from 8/29 P&G
1 $2/3 Halls from 8/8 SS
1 $1.50 Hyland’s coupon
Final Price: $7.26
I got back $7 CAT ($2 Pantene, $5 Hyland’s)
Total Cost $.26
Transaction #2
6 Halls Cough Drops $6
1 Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion $5.99
1 Toothpicks $.39 clearance
I used
1 $4/6 Halls from 8/8 SS
1 $1 Vaseline printable coupon
$7 CAT from previous transaction
Final Price: $1.07
I got back $5 CAT from Vaseline)
Total Cost: $3.07
So for $3.33 I have a bunch of stuff that I needed and will use as well as the Hyland’s which I will donate.
If you are not a regular Walgreens shopper, remember that Register Rewards are manufacturer’s coupons! You can use them at Jewel, Dominick’s or any other grocery chain that accepts competitor manufacturer’s coupons. Happy Shopping!
