My Jewel Shop Today – You Have To Do This!

I think it’s fair to say that when it comes to some deals I am a sad sad person. I couldn’t fall asleep last night because I was so excited about the new Your Bucks deals at Jewel. If my local Jewel had been open at midnight I would have gone in a heartbeat. I was up anyway…

Part of my excitement was the new deals themselves and some was due to the Degree clearance find and Colgate deal people were talking about on Couponer’s Wanted. The Colgate toothpaste that is on sale for $.99 this week is triggering the $1 Your Bucks Colgate CAT and Degree Ultra Clear clearanced at $1.99 and triggering the $2 Your Bucks Degree CAT. Plus, you can use the $.75 Degree coupon from 1/31 RP to make this a moneymaker!

Here’s what I did:

Transaction #1 & #2 (same transactions)

2 Lean Cuisine $1.99 each
2 Hot Pockets Ultimate $1 each
1 Ragu Pasta Sauce $1.99
1 Colgate Mint Zing $.99
1 Suave Shampoo $.89
1 Degree Ultra Clear $1.99
1 Jewel Bread $.99

I used
$.75/2 Hot Pockets CAT coupon
$.75 Degree coupon
$10.50 CAT from previous transactions

Final Price: $1.43
I got back $12.50 CAT ($2.50 Lean Cuisine, $2 Hot Pockets, $2 Ragu, $1 Colgate, $2 Suave, $2 Degree, $1 Bread)
Total Cost: I made $.57 on each transaction

Transaction #3

1 Suave $.89
1 Degree $1.99

I used
1 $.75 Degree coupon
$2 CAT from previous transaction

Final Price: $.43
I got back $4 CAT ($2 Suave, $2 Degree)
Total Cost: I made $1.57

Then I did a last transaction where I bought one more shampoo for $.98 after tax and got $2 CAT back. So after using almost no coupons (at least for me!) I made $3.69. These were some of the easiest transactions I have ever done and this would be a great way to get started if you are a little intimidated by CAT deals. Have fun!
