I wanted to take advantage of the last day of the GM/Unilever/KC deal, so (armed with snacks!) I took the kids out tonight. I had only done one run of this deal with the Scott, and since my husband has done a fantastic job not complaining about the cereals I’ve been getting recently, I wanted to make sure to pick up some Cheerios for everyone.
Here’s what I did
12 Scott Paper Towel Singles
6 Cheerios
2 Golden Grahams
1 Trix (my son begged, it was late, and I caved)
4 Cheerios Chex Mix
1 Unbelievably Large Country Crock
1 12 pk Large Eggs
1 Skim Milk
I used
3 $.75 Scott blinkies
2 $1/2 Cereal
1 $1/3 Cereal
2 $.55 Cheerios
2 $.50 Chex Mix
1 $.50/2 Chex Mix
1 $.55 Country Crock
$15 Jewel CATs from previous transaction
$12 Wags RR
Final Price: $12.49
I got back $30 in CATs
Total Cost: $9.49
I actually ran to Walgreens right before this shop and picked up a Contour glucose meter (pictured) in order to make another $4.66 for Jewel, but left that RR in the car (grrr!). This is the 3rd meter I’ve “bought,” so this shop actually cost less considering those moneymakers.
Now I just have to find somewhere to stash all these paper towels…
