My Jewel Shop Today

I went to Jewel today because I was dying to try some of these GM scenarios. Everything went really well, so if you want any of these products feel free to copy my shops! These are all a part of the General Mills CAT deal and include an additional scenario I posted today.

6 Reduced Fat Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
2 Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls w/ Cream Cheese (you know, to offset the Reduced Fat Crescent Rolls)

4 $1 Crescent Roll coupons
1 $1 Cinnamon Roll coupon from Que Rica Vida
1 $.75/3 Pillsbury Baked Goods blinkie (right in front of the rolls!)
$7 RR from Wags

Final Price: $.89
Got $14 CAT back ($10 General Mills, $4 Pillsbury)
Total Cost: I made $6.11

Transaction #2

20 Green Giant Canned Corn (regular and reduced sodium)
7 Simply Cookies
1 Gallon Milk
1 Mushrooms

I used

2 $1.25 Simply Cookies coupons
5 $1 Simply Cookies coupons
$3.50 RR from Wags
$4 CAT from previous transaction

Final Price: $22.61
Got $24 CAT back ($20 General Mills, $4 Pillsbury)
Total Cost: $6.11

That’s hilarious! I didn’t plan that, but I broke even – so everything was free.

I was supposed to pay $10 less OOP for the second transaction, but my $10 CAT wouldn’t scan. The cashier was very nice and wanted to enter it manually, but I asked her not to and said I would use it another time. Any coupons that have to be entered manually will mess with your CAT printing. You are better off not using the coupon/CAT and trying it again on a different transaction that doesn’t involve a CAT deal.

Whatever will I do with the $34 CAT’s I have sitting around… Guess I’ll have to go back!
