My Jewel And Walgreens Shops Today

This is a great week for deals! After the Post Cereal discovery last night, I wanted to make sure I got to Jewel first thing this morning. These were going to be popular and this moneymaker was the perfect thing for me to shave off a bit of the $1.25 I’ve been paying for the Lean Pockets (after coupon and $2 Your Bucks). I have also been waiting for the Jennie-O ground turkey to be B1G1 so that I could take advantage of the $5 Jennie-O rebate.

Before doing any transactions at Jewel, I bought a $300 gift card and made an extra $30 from Refund Rewards. Then I shopped!

Here’s what I did:

Total Cost for both transactions: $1.68

If you count the $30 I made by buying the gift card, I’m actually up $22.02, but I can’t decide it I count that as grocery savings or not.

I had only intended to go to Walgreens this morning, but things didn’t work exactly as planned. I was going to do the Band-Aid Neosporin deal, but Character Band-Aids didn’t seem to be a part of the deal so I nixed it. Does anyone know if the Wags Band-Aid coupon works on regular Band-Aids?

I got back $3 RR from Kleenex AND another free Tampax CAT!
Total Cost: $1.89

After I got home I realized that I totally forgot about the Planter’s deal, so I’ll have to go back later this week. Which you know will be hard for me.

I guess that Tampax CAT is random, so now is a good time to shop at Walgreens! You never know what may pop up!
