Today was a super busy day for me, so I knew I wasn’t going to be able to shop at both CVS and Walgreens. In cases like these, CVS always wins. They are easier to shop and there was a TON to get! My local Chicago CVS didn’t have the Robitussin, Advil, Starbucks Doubleshot or Migralex, so I stopped at a lovely store in Glenview that opened three weeks ago (on the way home from a birthday party). Not only was an employee standing at the door waiting to show me to anything I was looking for, she even tried to explain how I would receive Extra Care Bucks for purchasing them! (I knew all of this of course, but she was so excited that she made me excited! Kudos to the store at 3780 Willow Rd. in Glenview!) Here’s what I did today:

After all was said and done, CVS paid me $2.01 to do these deals AND I got a huge thing of Parmesan Cheese (which my son eats like candy on everything!) I will hunt down the Starbucks Doubleshot at some point this week (both of these stores only had the Doubleshot Energy which was $3.29 – not the right one), but I’m very happy with what I got today!
