This was a week that I knew that I would be doing some spending. There are some great deals on items that we use! (cheap Tide anyone??). One thing to note is that at Walgreens, they had a TON of trouble with my order. I have no idea why, but the coupons were not being accepted and every time my cashier would scan a candy coupon, it would bump the last one out. She ended up entering the coupons manually (in two separate orders), but then the RR from the Revlon didn’t print! The manager ended up printing those out separately for me, but be aware that this might be an issue for you as well!
Here’s what I did today:
Transaction #1
Revlon Nail Polish $4.99 (Used $2 from 7/28 SS)
2 Twix Bars $.49 each (Used $.50/2 Twix coupon)
2 3 Musketeers Bars $.49 each (Used $.75/2 coupon)
Paid $3.70 plus tax, Got $3 RR
Final Price: $.70
Transaction #2
2 Twix Bars $.49 each (Used $.50/2 Twix coupon)
2 3 Musketeers Bars $.49 each (Used $.75/2 coupon)
Final Price: $.71
Bausch & Lomb Drops $7.99 (Used $4 from 6/30 SS)
6 Stride iD Bum B1G1 for $1.59 (Chicago price) (Used 2 $1/3 Stride from 8/11 SS)
2 Cheerios Cereal 2/$6 (Used 2 $.60 from Betty Crocker or Pillsbury)
Snickers Squares $.99 (Used $.74 from Red Instant Coupon Machine)
2 Tide Detergent 2/$12 (Used $1.50/2 Tide coupon or $1.50/2 from 7/28 P&G)
Used $4/$20 CVS coupon from my email BEFORE giving any of the other coupons
Used $7.50 in ECB from previous weeks
Paid $10.81, Got $2 ECB from Cheerios, $4 ECB from Tide, $5 Soothe from 6/30 SS AND $1 Cheerios from SavingStar
Final Price: $6.31
The total cost of my shops today? $7.72. Not too shabby considering I was able to get cereal and detergent – two things we go through like tissues! I’d also like to point out that the Baush & Lomb item that I purchased was not the Soothe. The CVS I shopped at didn’t appear to carry the Soothe in the size on sale, so they accepted the other Bausch & Lomb item in it’s place and allowed me to use the coupon. I love CVS. They’re so easy to work with!
