I have to be honest, I wasn’t to stoked to shop this week. The best deals were at Walgreens, but I’m treading lightly over there these days and there were only a few things that called out to me. I stopped at two different CVS locations in search of more Neutrogena Bars, but like most of you, I also came up empty. Here’s what I did at Walgreens:
Walgreens
Transaction #1
3 Sure Deodorant $1.49 each (Used 3 $1 from 5/18 SS)
1 Velveeta Skillets $1.99 (Used $.75 from 2/23 SS)
Also used 2,000 points from previous weeks ($2 off)
Paid $.71 plus tax, Got $2 RR from Velveeta
Final Price: $.71
Transaction #2
Velveeta Skillets $1.99 (Used $.75 from 2/23 SS)
Used 1,000 points from previous weeks ($1 off)
Paid $.24 plus tax, Got $2 RR
Final Price: $.76 Moneymaker
I thought about doing the free St. Joseph Aspirin deal, but because we pay so much tax in Chicago and I didn’t really need it, I took a pass. I also thought about doing more moneymaking Velveeta transactions, but I thought twice when I realized I’d have to figure out how to use so many $2 Register Rewards in the next two weeks! This way I broke even (actually a $.05 moneymaker that went towards tax) and went home happy. I hope my little shop gives you some ideas! Happy shopping!
