I was really excited to shop this week because there were some excellent deals on a few things we needed. I am throwing a “Salon Party” birthday party for my daughter next weekend with a few of her friends (think painted nails, homemade face mask, etc), so I wanted to get more nail polish as well as any supplies that I could, like Capri Sun and paper towels! Plus, my kids and I have been EATEN UP by mosquitoes this year, so this worked out well! And as a bonus, I got a free $5 ECB from the Red Instant Coupon Machine as my reward for having purchased $50 in participating Beauty Club products. Gotta love free money!
The only bummer for me was that the Reach Toothbrush selection was completely out of stock (both 2 pks and 1 pks), so I’ll have to keep my eyes open for those later this week. I spent my $2 Reach coupons a few months ago during the last moneymaker, so all I have left is the $1 coupons anyway. These will be free after coupon, but it won’t kill me if I don’t find them this week. We’re good on toothbrushes right now. Here’s what I did:
Walgreens
4 Capri Sun 2/$4
1 Puracyn Wound Wash $10
Used $7 RR from two weeks ago (that was going to expire today, so I had to use it!)
Paid $11 plus tax, Got $10 RR from Puracyn and 4,000 points from Capri Sun
Final Price: $4
CVS
Just The Basics Paper Towels Roll $.79 (Used $.79 from Red Instant Coupon Machine)
2 Sally Hansen Xtreme Nail Polish $3.29 each (Used 2 $1 from 7/13 RP (or recent printables – no longer available)
2 Benadryl Anti-Itch Sticks $3.49 each (Used $3/2 from 6/8 SS)
Used $5 ECB from Beauty Club
Paid $3.56, Got $5 ECB from Sally Hansen and $5 ECB from Benadryl
Final Price: $11.44 Moneymaker (since the $5 ECB Beauty Club ECB was free!)
After all was said and done, I made a total of $7.44! It’s always a nice bonus to feel like the store paid you to shop there, isn’t it? And now I have enough nail polish (after the free Wet ‘N Wild from previous weeks) and juice for the party! I hope my shop gives you some ideas! Happy shopping!
