I went into this week with one goal in mind – spend all of my Register Rewards at Walgreens (which expire 8/24) because I won’t be able to shop next Sunday. After looking through the CVS ad with a fine-toothed comb, there was really nothing that I needed or wanted, so I skipped it completely. Here’s what I did at Walgreens:
Walgreens

2 Bic Highlighter 5 pks $.79 w/in-ad coupon (Use $1/2 from 8/3 SS)
1 Clearasil Face Wash $6.49 (Use $1 from 8/17 SS)
1 Walgreens Perfection Tampons 8 pk $1.49
1 Wexford Erasers $.19 w/in-ad coupon
Also used $1 Register Reward AND $2.50 Register Reward from last week
Paid $4.25 plus tax, Got $1.49 RR from Tampons, 300 points from Clearasil and will file for $5.49
Final Price: $.47
Transaction #2
2 Bic Highlighter 5 pks $.79 w/in-ad coupon (Use $1/2 from 8/3 SS)
1 Walgreens Perfection Tampons 8 pk $1.49
1 Wexford Erasers $.19 w/in-ad coupon
4 Sure Deodorant $1.49 each (Used 4 $1 from 8/17 SS)
Also used $1 Register Reward AND $2.50 Register Reward from last week
Paid $.72 plus tax, Got $1.49 RR and 250 points from Sure
Final Price: $2.48
*Note – I spent all of my $4 Almay coupons on free eye shadow last week and I did the free Purell deal a few weeks ago, so I’m out of those coupons as well.
After all was said and done, I spent a total of $2.95 for everything, I spent all of my Register Rewards, I got some school supplies that we needed and my husband is stocked on his favorite deodorant for at least the next six months. Now I have to hope that the deals look good for CVS next week because I have a stack of Extra Care Bucks that I have to roll sometime in the next three weeks! I hope this gives you some ideas of what to do this week and make sure to take a look at my CVS and Walgreens shop suggestions as well! Happy shopping!
