If you are in the Chicagoland area, mark your calendars! Mrs. Green’s Natural Market (will be having a huge spring celebration event on Thursday, March 27 from 6PM-8:30PM. This event will be completely free and will include food sampling and live music. Also, be sure to bring the kids because they will have a special area just for children’s activities! To make this celebration even better, Mrs. Green’s will offer special pricing on hundreds of items including Mrs. Green’s 100 percent all-natural produce.
The celebration will continue with special events throughout the weekend. Field Trip Factory will host a free introduction for teachers and educators to the new Think Global, Eat Local educational program on Friday at 4 p.m. On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mrs. Green’s staff will host a children’s activity called “Eat the Rainbow,” which will teach children about the value of eating a variety of nutritious foods.
The market has this to say about themselves (and I love it!):
“Mrs. Green’s Natural Market is a neighborhood store, passionately committed to clean, natural foods. Dedicated to health and sustainability. Devoted to customers who care deeply about the foods they eat.”
They will also be donating five percent of in-store proceeds from March 27 through April 3, up to $10,000, to the Lincoln Public School “Eat What You Grow” Garden Club. I don’t know about you, but these two things alone make me want to go and check it out!
Mrs. Green’s Natural Market is located at 555 West Webster Ave. in Chicago and if you’re planning to check it out, make sure to bring along the $5 Mrs. Green’s Natural Market coupons! You’ll be able to save on Bakery, Produce, Deli and Dairy and when matched with additional sales, they should make for some incredible deals. All are valid from 3/27-4/12, so use them during the spring celebration and then come back and use them again while they’re still valid!
