You may have noticed that Facebook changed my page and all other business pages over to the Timeline format today. Yikes! What does this mean for us? It means that we have some more things to learn about the new Facebook layout. Here is how to make sure that you never miss a deal on Couponing For 4 through your Facebook page:
First, make sure that Couponing For 4 is in your NewsFeed! Visit the Couponing For 4 Facebook page and hover over the “Liked” button. You will see the image below pop up. Make sure you see a check-mark next to “Show In News Feed.” Otherwise, be sure to click that!
Next, find the posts quickly! The easiest way to do this is to access the “Highlights” button below. You will find this shaded button just below the Photos button on the Couponing For 4 Facebook page. Click the “Highlights” button and you’ll see a “Posts By Page” option (among others). Make that your primary selection and you’ll see only the posts from the site.
See all of today’s posts! When you first arrive on the Couponing for For Facebook page, you’ll only see the top 5 or so posts. Scroll down the page until you see the “See More Recent Stories” button. Click that and the page will expand into more of today’s (and hopefully yesterday’s) posts.
Lastly, check out your new toolbar for similar options! As you scroll down the Couponing For 4 Facebook page, you’ll see a little toolbar pop up at the top of your page. You won’t see this until you start scrolling down.
On this Toolbar you’ll have the option to change your Timeline to “Now” or find older posts by selecting the “Now” button and changing the month or year. That will help you find older posts, but your best bet is to stay current.
You will also find the “Posts by Page” option on this toolbar. The biggest inconvenience at the moment is that when you go away from the Couponing For 4 page, the options reset to “Highlights.” That means that each time you come to the page you’ll have to reset your “Posts by Page.” Hopefully that issue is only temporary!
