Yep, you read that right!
One of my favorite thing about shopping online (other than not having to leave my house, being able to do it in my pajamas, and stores being open at 11pm when my kids are asleep!) is shopping through a site that will pay me for my purchases.
There are 3 sites that I can recommend because I have received checks from each and have found each one to be legit.
The first is Ebates. When you click on a link from Ebates, you open a “Tracking Ticket.” This is how you will be able to see that they’ve noticed your click. There is a similar process for all of the programs. There is a $5 referral bonus for both you and your friend and a $10 bonus for the second person you refer.
The second is Mr. Rebates. This site will give you a $5 signup bonus, but you can’t cash out until you have $10 in your account. They have a very large list of stores and also post online coupons with you can use for your purchase. You will also earn 20% of what your referrals earn.
The third site is Cashbaq. Cashbaq will also offer you a $5 signup bonus, but you must wait until reaching $10 to cash out. The also have a very large list and post “special offers” (the equivalent of coupons) for their members. They have a referral program where you can earn 10% of what your friends earn, 5% or what their friends earn, and 2% of what their friends earn.
All of the programs are similar and all will earn you cash back. My recommendation is to join all three (it’s free) and when you want to shop online, take a quick look through each to see how much you’ll earn through that store. They are not all consistent. For example, you want to buy something from Barnes & Noble. Ebates is paying 8% cash back, Mr. Rebates is paying 5%, and Cashbaq is paying 3%. So for this purchase you’d want to shop through Ebates. Again, though, this is not consistent, so you’d want to check each one for each new store.
I can’t tell you what a good time I had with these sites on Black Friday! Okay, I’m sad. I know.
