**UPDATE – What a mess. I am so sorry, but I have to fill you in on what’s going on here. This mixer is the Amazon Gold Box Deal today and offers the $50 rebate right on their page. This specific model is not listed on the rebate, but Amazon has maintained that it is included and the difference is based on the color available. After speaking to a few of my friends and hearing what KitchenAid and Amazon have said, it seems that I can’t tell you with 100% certainty that KitchenAid will honor this. Ultimately, this is a manufacturer’s rebate, so KitchenAid is the final word and they say that it is not included.
There are a few options – You could cancel your order with no issue. You could take a screen shot of the offer and continue, try for the rebate and ask Amazon for the $50 in credit if the rebate is not honored. If you go with this option I’d suggest calling Amazon so that you can get a record of your rebate confirmation under your account (they should make notes) in case you need to ask for a credit. Otherwise, you could still buy this for $259 shipped, which is an awesome deal! Whatever you choose, I’m sorry for the confusion.**
