I am a perpetually warm person by nature. I wear flip-flops in the winter and shorts until there’s snow. The only pair of boots that I own was purchased for me by my mother who was concerned about my toes (and I thank her!), but they don’t get worn very often. I like to be cool at all times.
Jockey has come out with a new line of products for people like me. Their staycool technology is supposed to help your skin feel up to 3 degrees cooler! In a summer where temperatures in Chicago have been in the upper 90’s (and way higher around the country), I was ready to give these products a whirl.
Both my husband and I got to try out this undergarment line. My husband’s impressions of the Men’s line were all good. He’s a man of few words when it comes to these things (and I know he’s not alone!), but he told me that he loved their softness and wanted me to buy more then next time I was out shopping. I took that as a clear seal of approval.
I am completely in love with the Women’s line tank that I tried. I will be purchasing a few more for my collection. When it was hot last week, I slept in both the Jockey tank and underwear. First of all, the material is extremely soft. The tank in particular kept me feeling cool – enough so (along with my air conditioning) that I needed to grab a blanket in the middle of the night. That’s saying something! Just to clarify, the material is not cold, but it helps you feel cooler.
After washing it, I also wore my favorite tank out on the town. It happened to be raining, so although it’s hot an muggy in Chicago, I was carrying everyone’s jackets.
