The stars have aligned! The P&G deal (as of right now) at Jewel is working! I am assuming this won’t change, so take advantage of the cheap deals while you can! I purchased twelve boxes of Puffs in four separate transactions (they had about 70 on the shelf) and each and every time the $5 Instant Savings Deal worked! I didn’t use coupons on these deals because I was actually on the way to the dentist when I talked to my store on the phone, so I stopped at another Jewel to try it. Yes, I know, I have problems, but I”m okay (and thrilled!) with paying $.40 for four boxes of tissues! 😉 Anyway, the bottom line is that it’s working right now.
Here are my two cents: This could work out all week long with no issues at all. But this is Jewel we’re talking about. My guess is that they will honor the deal all week long, but that they will not restock shelves on the cheaper items (i.e. Puffs, Mr. Clean, etc) until after it’s over. Now that’s just my guess and I’m not stating fact! Let’s hope that I’m wrong!
