Effective Monday, June 18th, we will be discontinuing our Avenu program and next week we’ll be announcing a new way for customers to save at our stores. I know your readers enjoyed saving through our Avenu program, but I’m excited to share new savings opportunities for our shoppers in the coming weeks. Lowering prices on thousands of items in the store is just one of the exciting new changes coming to JEWEL-OSCO this summer. Our customers can still enjoy discounts using our Preferred Savings program, it is just Avenu that is going to be discontinued.
I would wager a guess that some of you newer Jewel shoppers don’t even know what Avenu is (it’s Jewel’s online mini-coupon page), so I can’t say it’s a huge loss. We haven’t been able to do a ton with it anyway.
