Okay, it’s truly impossible to keep your popsicles from melting, but it IS possible to keep your popsicles from melting everywhere! Here’s how:
Grab a cupcake baking cup out of your cupboard and cut a little hole in the bottom. Grab your favorite popsicle and slide it on through! I like to start the baking cup slit small and increase it little by little until the popsicle stick fits through perfectly with no extra room on either side. The more perfectly the stick fits in the slice you’ve made, the less popsicle goodness can seep through and down the stick.
This keeps my kids happy and my floors from getting sticky, so it’s one of my favorite tips. If you have a little one who is a S-L-O-W popsicle eater, you may want to invest in some heavier duty or aluminum cups. You can also add a piece of tape to the bottom of the paper cupcake baking cups to give it a little extra umpf! Either way, this should help keep your popsicles from melting everywhere!
