If you’ve been hanging out with me on the Couponing For 4 Facebook page, you know that I went to a Family Dollar event in downtown Chicago last week. I met some fantastic people and learned a lot about the Family Dollar company and products. Did you know that Family Dollar has 6,800 locations? I had no idea. Did you know that Family Dollar sells high-quality brand name and private label items? Again, I had no clue. My interest was definitely piqued.
One of my favorite parts of the evening was getting to go to a Family Dollar location. We were given a challenge to see what we could purchase for our families within certain price restrictions. Since I had only been to a Family Dollar a handful of times before, I looked forward to scouring the shelves. Surprisingly, I didn’t have to scour at all. There were tons of options readily available!
I will continue to tell you about some of the fantastic deals that you can get at Family Dollar over the next few days (you’ll want to hear about them, believe me!), but first I want to get to the toys! There were hundreds of toys available, but I picked up a Travel Size Hungry Hungry Hippos for my son (he’s been asking for one!) and a Princess Dress-up set for my daughter. Total cost for both – $10.50. I couldn’t believe it!
The other thing that I couldn’t take my eyes off of was this Hot Wheels Crash Curve Racing Set that Family Dollar has priced at only $10! It comes with one Hot Wheels car and should be compatible with any other Hot Wheels cars hanging around your house. Because I was so taken with this set (and it’s value!), I wanted to give a few away to you!
