Jewel shopping has not been as much fun as it used to be. The deals seem to be getting skimpier and farther apart. Luckily, there are a few good things going on right now! It’s about time, right?
I read on Couponer’s Wanted this morning that when you purchase Culinary Circle Pizza 2/$9, $4.50 deducts automatically. You do not need to purchase anything else for this to work! Here’s how it worked for me when I tried it out earlier today:
1 Culinary Circle Pizza $4.50 (after $1.45 preferred savings)
1 Culinary Circle Pizza $4.50 (after $1.45 preferred savings)
$4.50 Free CC Pizza deduction

Final Price: $13.50 plus tax for 6 Pizzas!
There are no coupons required, but you will need to buy in sets of two for this to work. The deal should run through 9/1!
**UPDATE – People are reporting that if you buy 7 pizzas the 7th is free as well! 7 pizzas for $13.50! Can’t argue with that!**
Also, Jewel has started a new “Cookware For A Penny” deal. For every $10 you spend at Jewel, you get a sticker for your “Saver Card.” When you get collect a certain number of stickers, you get to redeem them for a piece of cookware and only pay a penny.
I have to admit that when I first heard about the program, I was pretty excited about it. Then I realized that it’s not $50 you have to spend to get some cookware, it’s $500. Okay, it’s worth collecting the stickers, but it says that this program ends January 12, 2011, so that’s not a ton of time. Especially if you’re using your Register Rewards to pay for your groceries!
If you do get some cookware, though, I’d love to hear about it! The manager at my store says it’s pretty good quality. I’d love to know what you think!
