Just in case I wasn’t clear enough during my Sunday Newspaper post, today is a day you will want to buy an extra newspaper. Most of the coupons aren’t all that special, but many of us wait all year for the Breeze/Contour Glucose Meter coupon. It is valued up to $30 and expires in April ’10.
What will end up happening is this: Somewhere around January/February (maybe sooner, but I’d be surprised) you will probably see a RR or ECB deal on these. The deal will be something like “Buy a Breeze or Contour meter for $14.99, Get $5 ECB/RR.” It could be also be a “Buy one for $9.99, Get $9.99 RR/ECB.” In either case, you give your “up to $30” coupon (making the product free) and get $5 RR/ECB or more in return. It’s a fantastic moneymaker!
Also, this is a great thing to donate. Nursing homes, park districts, and homeless shelters are always looking for this kind of donation. Everybody wins!
**Quick Disclaimer: I obviously can’t guarantee that this deal will come around. However, I’m willing to bet it will and it only costs a few bucks in extra newspapers if I’m not. It’s up to you whether you are a betting kind of person!**
