As I sit here listening to the Frozen (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), it occurred to me that some of you might be looking for a deal. While there really isn’t a deal going on, the best price is over at Amazon for $11.49.
If you’ve seen the movie, you know you’ve been wanting to listen to “Let It Go” over and over! I am. I can’t help it! That being said, I far prefer the Idina Menzel version to the Demi Lovato version. I get that they had to make a “pop” version of the single, but couldn’t they have let Idina Menzel release it?? As much respect as I have for Demi Lovato’s success, we’re talking about a Broadway star who originated the characters of Maureen in “Rent” and Elphaba in “Wicked.” Come ON. Idina Menzel wins hands down. And I’d be wrong if I failed to mention that Kristen Bell killed her roll as Anna. What a voice! I hope we get to hear it again on another project.
