**UPDATE – it looks like they just pulled this deal. I’ll let you know if it comes back!
So yesterday I started seeing things about a free $5 Paypal Cash deposit floating around online. Being a Chicago girl as well as an avid “deleter” of the daily email scam, I wasn’t buying it. I know that my skepticism could have bought me (and you) a $5 deposit, but I’d rather sacrifice the $5 than your (and my!) personal details and safety. That being said, it does appear to be real and verified with Paypal! Here’s the scoop:
Paypal wants you to use them to check out with your next online purchase. Fill out this short survey (where you will be asked NOTHING personal except your email at the end! Also, it has an https at the beginning of the url rather than http. That’s always a good sign of privacy.) and enter your email address. When you are asked to choose your reward, scroll to the bottom where you will see the free $5 Paypal option. This will most likely be a code that you use on your first purchase OR it will be an automatic coupon linked to your account. Either way, their goal is to get you to use their checkout system during your next purchase. This is good for new and existing members. Enjoy your free money!
