Now that temperatures are warmer, we are spending more time outside! While we love the weather, sometimes our outdoor spaces can look a little lackluster.
The next question becomes, how do I spruce up my outdoor area on a budget?
A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to interview Sarah Saucedo from Thrifty Décor Chick and get some ideas of the best tips and tricks for making a great outdoor space! In addition to being REALLY nice, she had some excellent ideas! Take a listen and see what you think!
Here are some additional tips that Sarah recommends:
- Maintain what you already have – find out how to keep your existing outdoor furniture looking fresh and new all season long, how to remove clutter effectively and maintain your area.
- Set the mood – décor doesn’t have to be expensive. Use lighting and cheap table settings to up the festivity level.
- Let outdoor items perform double duty – use planters as food stations, buckets at fire places, and other creative fixes to maximize space and function.
To get everyone excited about sprucing up your outdoor space, I am giving one lucky winner a Mr. Clean and Bounty Prize Pack!
