Here are my best shop suggestions for both CVS and Walgreens this week! These suggestions should be tailored to fit what works best for your family and your financial situation, so make sure that they work for you before heading out! That being said, here is what I would do based on the best deals this week (assuming you have no ECB or RR to start with):
CVS
Transaction #1
Buy 2 Tena Serenity Pantiliners 26 ct B1G1 50% off for $3.99 each ($5.99)
Use 2 $2 Tena coupons
Pay $1.99, Get $4 ECB (Limit 1)
Final Price: $2.01 Moneymaker!
Walgreens
Transaction #1
Buy 2 Garnier Fructis Shampoo or Conditioner $2.99 each ($5.98)
Buy 1 Sharpie Fine Point Marker $.33 w/in-ad coupon
Use 2 $2 Garnier Fructis from 4/26 RP (regional)
Use $2/2 Garnier Fructis from Walgreens May coupon booklet
Final Price: $.31
*Note – Your mileage may vary on the Garnier deal. Walgreens policy is not to reduce coupons to give any overage. If you purchase these alone, they will likely reject the coupon. If you purchase another item in the same transaction (such as the Sharpie), the $.02 in overage *should* be absorbed by the additional item purchase price in your order.
Transaction #2
Buy 2 Excedrin 100-125 ct 2/$20
Use 2 $2 Excedrin from 5/10 SS or $1 Excedrin coupon
Pay $16, Get 10,000 points, $4 from SavingStar AND $1 from SavingStar
Final Price: 2/$1 ($.50 each)
Remember that you can also get Butterball Turkey Bacon for only $.54 and Sharpies for only $.33 each while you’re there!
If you did this, you’d walk away spending $18.30 out of pocket and still have 10,000 points, $4 ECB and $5 from SavingStar. That means you’re walking having MADE $.70 and you’ll be getting a bunch of stuff! If you have any RR or ECB to start with, feel free to change these deals to what will work best for you! These are just a jumping point. Happy shopping!
