Couponing For Community is back! This amazing week of giving started last year when we took up the challenge of turning couponing into a way of helping others. It was so successful that we’re doing it again!
The basic idea is this: What can you afford to donate right now? I know that times are very very tough for many of us, but that we’d love to help if we could. Can you spare $5? Maybe $7? Think about what you can do with that money when you use your coupons. Take a look through the CVS and Walgreens deal lists for the week. How can you use that $7 to buy a grocery bag (or two) full of products? There are six freebies at Walgreens this week with coupons. That’s a great start!
Be creative! Think about what you have in your stockpile. Do you really need 8 jars of pasta sauce? Can you spare one? What has been sitting in your cabinet for a year? Do you need to keep all of it?
Towards the end of the week I will post my donation, but if you get yours together first, feel free to post about it on the Couponing For Community Facebook page and add the number of items you donated to the ongoing Ticker. We’re hoping to reach 10,000!
When you do post, I’d absolutely love it if you tag me in your description (write @Couponingfor4) so that all of my readers can see your contribution as well! Good luck and happy shopping!
