If you are feeling most excellent, you have to check out Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure on Blu-Ray! This cult classic (and I am part of that cult!) that we had so much fun with in the 80’s now includes extras that will have you learning how to properly play air-guitar and see all of your favorite historical figures working out and reeking havoc in San Dimas!
Watching this movie again had me laughing out loud. I haven’t watched it in forever and hearing all the hilarity brought me back to my teens. My favorite lines at the moment:
- About George Washington: One: the father of our country. Two: born on President’s Day. Three: the dollar bill guy.
- Billy The Kid: Here’s the deal. What I win, I keep. What you win, I keep. Bill & Ted: Sounds good, Mr. The Kid!
- So, Bill, what you’re telling me, essentially, is that Napoleon was a short dead dude.
There are so many more, but those are a start. If it’s been awhile since you watched this movie, rat out your hair a little, grab your skirt, tights and combat boots and sit down for a history lesson!
