Bare Escentuals has has come out with a brand new skin care line called bareMinerals. These products are made with RareMinerals ActiveSoil Complex. They say that it has three times the antioxidant capacity of blueberries. I don’t know about you, but I appreciate really clean skin after a long day chasing after my children.
Bare Escentuals recently sent me the new bareMinerals Deep Cleansing Foam and Purely Nourishing Moisturizer to try. I have to tell you, I love the Deep Cleansing Foam. After using it once, I kind of wanted to dry off and use it again. The Foam starts out as a paste. You put a bit on your hand, add water and work up a lather. And it really does lather! While washing my face, I felt as if I was putting more of a masque on than just a regular wash. It was thick, soft and smelled light and pleasant. It washes off very easily and leaves your skin feeling soft and clean. I almost didn’t want to put the moisturizer.
The moisturizer is nice, but it isn’t as life changing as the wash. It is easy to apply and does moisturize your skin, but I was a bit overwhelmed by the herb scent. It wasn’t my favorite, but that doesn’t mean that someone else might not like it. I think it’s just your personal preference. And if it really does “hydrate skin while improving firmness, elasticity, radiance and overall skin texture,” I just might keep using it!
