How’s all that bargain hunting going? There are tons of deals! So many deals, in fact, that you can’t expect yourself to do them all. I am often asked if I do all of the deals that I write about and here’s my answer – absolutely, unequivocally no! Who has that kind of time?? And honestly, if you did them all, you’d be spending more than saving. Whether it be spending your time, gas money or actual cash, not every deal applies to every person. Do what’s right for you.
What I like most about couponing (other than the fun little rush of having gotten $90 in groceries for $1.42!) is that my kids are learning the value of a dollar. My son will be five next month, but he knows that if it’s not on sale, we don’t buy it. That’s a lesson that I hope he takes with him into his own household.
