My family has eaten Van’s waffles and english muffin products for a long time and loved them. So when I heard that they had new cereal, crackers and snack bars, I was super excited! We are not a gluten-free family, but I have family members who are gluten-free and I like to know about what new products they can eat (and I can keep at my house to offer them!)
My kids went crazy over the cereal! Both the Honey Nut Crunch and Cinnamon Heaven were gone in the blink of an eye. In fact, I didn’t even get to taste it! Over the course of a few days, they had eaten it for breakfast, snacks and once for dinner! I guess I’ll have to try them when we buy some more because they’ve already added it to the shopping list!
I served the Gluten-Free Cracker varieties during a girls gathering at my house, but they weren’t a big hit. I think the Say Cheese! were my favorite, but they had a bit of an odd texture. That being said, I haven’t had a lot of gluten-free crackers, so maybe it’s not a texture I’m used to.
The Gluten-Free Whole Grain Snack Bars are tasty! I am a fan of Chocolate Chip, Cranberry Almond, and Peanut Butter Chocolate and have one of each in the glove box of my car for last minute snacks for myself! (Oh, and I’m eating one right now!) Yum, yum and yum!
